…..have appeared at a trial at Exeter where psychiatrists agreed and charges were dropped; flew to Dublin to review plans for InHand Guides (www.inhandguides.com); regretted flying Ryanair – charged £40 for not having printed out a ticket; two drink-drive trial were discontinued – rightly so – because of poor medical evidence and one because of procedural errors; assorted on-call sessions for Met Police Service; visited Lancaster Castle for Crown Court – everyone there except the defendant – lovely castle though; Examiner’s meeting for question setting at the Society of Apothecaries Diploma in the Forensic & Clinical Aspects of Sexual Assault; had a gastroscopy list cancelled because of sterility issues; filmed a short test piece to camera – during which the cameraman was assaulted in a random attack; moved work schedule sveral times to accommodate an attempt murder trial at Cambridge Crown Court onlt to have the defendant plead on the day; attended a friend’s wedding on June 21st on the beautiful River Crouch; marked MSc papers and assignations; tried to prepare for a week’s sailing in Holland; wrote lecture for the AvMA conference  (www.avma.org.uk) on Clinical Negligence in Manchester on Friday; and prepared expert report at last minute for murder trial and and GBH cases. Looking forward to Holland.
