Was honoured to be inaugurated as President of the World Police Medical Officers by the outgoing President (and President of the International Association of Forensic Sciences) Professor Duarte Nuno Vieira at the close of this years triennial IAFS Meeting in Funchal, Madeira.  Over 1600 forensic science and medicine delegates enjoyed a great program in a great setting.  Many congratulations to Duarte and his incredible team.  The new President of the IAFS for 2014 is Heesun Chung from Seoul. South Korea who deserves double congratulations being the first female IAFS President. WPMO will join with IAFS for the 2014 meeting.
